With extensive experience across both clinical and high-performance environments, Jay provides personalised, evidence-based care for patients at Good Physio. His services include:

  • Gym-based rehabilitation and tailored exercise prescription
  • Sports-specific rehabilitation and return-to-sport guidance
  • Case-specific second opinions and coordination of specialist referrals
  • Spinal manipulation
  • Dry needling for pain management and recovery
  • Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and comprehensive biomechanical assessment
  • Running assessment and video-based gait analysis, with customised corrective strategies and targeted exercise prescription
  • Running coaching, with a focus on beginner to intermediate runners

As a passionate marathon runner who has completed two of the Abbott World Marathon Majors (Tokyo and Sydney) and is on a mission to conquer all seven, Jay brings a unique understanding of the physical and mental demands of long-distance running. This insight deeply informs his approach to injury prevention, movement efficiency, and performance optimisation for runners of all levels.

Jay is committed to helping patients move confidently, perform at their best, and return to the activities they love—safely and sustainably.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) – Summer Studentship Scholarship Awardee (current Honours equivalent)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
  • Master of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy (2025 – ongoing)
  • Bachelor of Science (Sports & Exercise)
  • FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine
  • F-Marc Injury Prevention Programme Instructor Certification: FIFA 11+
  • Functional Movement Screening (FMS)
  • Polestar Pilates Instructor Certification
