TJ graduated from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy and started his physio career at a widely-renowned physiotherapy clinic, Kinetics Whangaparaoa. In the early stage of his career, he developed the communication skills, diagnostic skills for musculoskeletal injuries, and evidence-based treatment.
From all the learning, training, and support at Kinetics, TJ found his own physiotherapy clinic in North Shore. He is highly passionate about sports medicine, strength & conditioning, exercise-based rehabilitation, and injury prevention with functional restoration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) – from AUT
- Certificate of Proficiency in Advanced Assessment and Diagnostic Reasoning (Level 8) – from AUT.

- Auckland United Football Club 2020 – 2021.
- North Shore Rugby Football Club (U-21) 2023 – 2024.
- North Shore Rugby Football Club (Women) 2025.
TJ was born and raised in South Korea, speaks native Korean and now lives on North Shore with his wife and son. TJ has trained Taekwondo and played football in his younger age and is now more passionate about helping people get back to their desired functions.
